Close Chuck

Today during the modern art history lecture we were introduced to the photorealism and we all liked one artist the most Close Chuck it is. Well, the wave itself isn't very welcomed in the art world and not very appreciated among critics either. Also I really disliked the idea that they are using squares first on photo then on the canvas, because it is easy to draw almost everything. But I do still like this artist, because he is in a wheel chair, he paints just huge paintings and they are stunning in reallity. I think that you still have to know how to draw having in mind that he does everything, little hair, eyes, skin. But it looks just amazing for people with no artistic education and I can understand why.
