Interesting stormy day

Today we have been shopping almost a whole day.
I bought few things for my family back in Lithuania, I also bought jeans from Forever21 + a dress and ties with shirts for boys.

And then the storm begun while we were at the mall. A real fucking storm. I got so scared. The sirens went on (we did not hear a thing). And then somehow Paul's uncle came with no cell no message and picked us up. After that it got a little better, but before we were ready to settle down with the tea and some food, even worst storm begin with the possibility of tornado. The TV went off and the warning appeared. So many ambulances came through. But now it is hopefully over...

While I was waiting to go to the mall, drew this. I know - piece of shit...

Geneva

I feel a little bit down today. I think it's mostly becaue I am not tattooing for a whole week now and I've missed it as hell, also becaue I want to stay here in USA and I know I can't. I did not try to find a job here yet, and I know I won't, becaue I know how those people look at us foreigners.
Today we went to the mall. I thought I am gonna spend like a lot of money, but I did not. I did not even spend 50 dollers during a whole week. Illinois is one of the most expensive states, it is not cheap, that's true, especially in Chicago. But it was a sale, so I bough lion earrings for 2 dollers haha, a mascara for my sister, lipgloss also for 2 dollers + fake eyelashes. Two nail pollishes for 6 dollers and a victoria's secret little perfume. Loved the smell, had to try it.
After the long day of unsuccessful shopping (because I did not finish shopping for my girls back in Lithuania) we went to the nice town called Geneva. I know right? But it was very awesome. They have this big water reservoir and a nice river. Very awesome architecture.
However I am very lazy tonight and not gonna apload pictures form my camera...

Chicago center

I feel fine, because I've been blogging quite well during this trip. I thought I am not gonna able to connect to the internet properly, but it works great, almost as good as in Lithuania.
Yesterday we went to Chicago center. The feeling was unbelielavble for a few hours. Then I got a little bit fed up with the view. Don't get me wrong, I totally loved it, however I did take too many pictures and all the places look same good, nothing spicy. All the same, but different.
However I loved it. I did imagine that first megapol in USA for me to visit will be New York and I got sad that it was gonna be Chicago, but it was worth it. Chicago seamed very neat to me. I did not see any rats, or litter, or bad buildings. No graphitti(?) at all.

Since it was our first day in the center, we decided just to walk our asses off. We did not visit any museums or zoos.

I wore a comfortable dress

The weather was interesting. There was a fog. Also the strange thing is that next to the lake in Chicago it is cold. And going at some places it felt hot.

I was so happy that I did not have to take a look at the map

A ghost

This pretty much captured the Chicago for me

And of course, we visited the bean

Loved those fountains. However did not see those guys spitting from their mouths

After a looong day of walking Paul's cousin, who is physic, invited us and her almost husband to have a pizza. we spent so much great time. My English was noticed as a good one of her Fiance, who is American haha. That fel good ;)

Th pizza was sooo thick, never ate that sort of pizza before. It was delicious, except of the sides of it.

And today we spent almost all day long in Indiana next to the Michigan lake. I liked it, it is as almost big as our Baltic sea. I got sooo tanned. But not yet brown :D haha. I also tried to swim, but the water was surpisingly cold. However the weather was the opposite. Today when we went to the mall by foot I thought I am gonna die form the heat.

The very first normal day in USA

Hello, peeps. So I am wining and dining here in USA. However I did not do much today, exept that I met my boyfriend's cousin, who is getting married, but there was enough of wine indeed haha. We went to take here bridal dress from fixing. And it got raining cats and dogs, it's been a while I saw that strong rain.
Then we went to Naperwill (?). WTF, I already forgot the name of this small town. It was nice, we had a long walk in the park, all of us together.
You may be asking why there is no action yet? This question occured to me too haha. But we are planning to see the real Chicago tomorrow, if it is not gonna rain. Only becaue the train tickets are ridiculously expensive. I never saw that sum of money for a train ticket in Europe, never before. But I am itching to see the real Chicago...

They have this male cat, which likes to be stroking

I was trying to make an american smile

I am like a dummy taking picture of the bus

I loved this little rabbit. aaaw

P.S. I did not get anything like a so called jet lag. Also it was damn easy to adapt to the new time.

My trip went well

Hei, peeps. I am already in USA, staying in the suburbs(?)(Aurora) next to the Chicago city. Slept my first night very well. Have been travelling for 30 and more hours. Changed two busses, and two planes haha. Have visited one of the biggest airports in Amsterdam. Was great.
Yesterday we got through so many security shit, also through a face control and everyone got through very well :) Got asked some questions and stuff.
But the best thing is the weather here. It is so warm here, not like in my home country. Yesterday it was so hot. Since we were so tired, when we got the place, where we are gonna be living for 23 days, we did not do anything much. But I visited Wallmart :D haha, wanted to see what was so special about this place. The answer is - nothing.

We live in a place which looks like the set from "Desperate housiwives".

Amsterdam

My first view at Chicago

We got so much food on the plane. OMG. The company we flew with was so awesome.
